Franz Wagner is a skilled swingman that can shoot and pass the basketball. As he is the younger brother of Moritz Wagner, Franz Wagner played very well in his role overseas in the BBL in Germany as well as in Eurocup.

Currently, Wagner is having a very good sophomore season, and he has impressed by showing solid all-around skills, and he has lead his team to an 11-0 record so far, as his team has collected wins over Minnesota, Northwestern, and Wisconsin.  He has been moving up draft boards recently, and he is currently a late first round prospect that could move up to the mid first round range by the time the 2021 NCAA Tournament starts.
