Felipe Dos Anjos is a Brazilian center that could project into a backup center role in the NBA. He is an active finisher around the basket, and he is a solid low post scorer that can command a double team. Plus, Dos Anjos also can finish plays above the rim, and he is also a good rebounder.
However, he will need to improve his playmaking skills, as he does not collect enough assists, and he can be turnover prone. He also can be quite foul prone in higher levels of professional basketball. He especially seemed to struggle to defend out in space, as his lack of foot-speed or mobility may make it difficult for him to stay on the floor for long stretches.
In general, Felipe Dos Anjos is a very tall center that could be a banger at the NBA level. He may need to continue to develop his game overseas to show that he can play well at the highest levels of international basketball. Right now, he may project to be a potential second round pick in 2020.
