Updated on 6/26/22.  Written by Alan Lu.
2022 Rankings were finalized on 6/23/22.

Height: 5-11
Weight: 165
College: Maryland
Classification: Fifth-Year Senior
Birthdate: 5/6/1998

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Decent scorer off the dribble
Decent shooter
Decent playmaker
Solid rebounder for his size
Adequate defender that can get steals
Solid athlete

Cons:

Streaky shooter
Can struggle to score in traffic
Prone to hoisting up questionable shots
Can struggle to guard taller players
Undersized for his position
Old for a draft prospect, may have limited upside

Summary:

Fatts Russell is an agile, skilled playmaker that can knock down shots in a varety of ways.  He is a quick guard that can score on tough shots off the dribble, and he also can knock down jumpers from beyond the arc.  He can tend to take too many tough shots though, which can hurt his shooting percentages.  Recently, he was invited to play at the 2022 Portsmouth Invitational, and he played well in the first game of that event there. He is a fleet-footed playmaker that could project into a backup point guard role in the NBA, and he is a borderline second round candidate in the 2022 draft.
