Evan Mobley is a very athletic, energetic big man that could project to be a top 5 pick in the 2021 draft. He runs the floor very well, and he can finish a lot of plays around the basket. He is a versatile, skilled scorer that plays above the rim, and he can throw down some highlight reel worthy dunks. He also is a gifted shot blocker that can cover plenty of ground defensively, and he is also an underrated passer and ball handler on the court.
On the downside, sometimes he doesn’t call for the ball enough, and he may not look to create his own offense enough at times. Mobley will also need to improve his outside shot, and he can sometimes struggle to defend stronger opponents in the paint. Still, with his strong blend of size, athleticism, shot blocking ability, and upside, Mobley projects to be a likely top 5 pick, and he has the upside to become a superstar in the NBA.
