Summary:
E.J. Anosike is a strong, high-motor combo forward that had a solid collegiate career. He started out at Sacred Heart, played one season at Tennessee, and he finished his collegiate career at Cal State Fullerton. He is a physical player that can score out of the post, and he has a solid shooting touch that goes out to the mid-range.
On the downside, it may be uncertain if his game can translate quite as well to the NBA. He has the game of an undersized big man, but has the size of a small forward, and he’ll need to work on his jump shot and perimeter skills to be able to play both forward spots well at higher levels. Still, he is a productive, blue collar type of player that has the mindset and the intangibles that could enable him to make his way to the NBA someday.
