Pros:

Good shooter, especially from deep

Decent rebounder
Decent defender that can get steals and blocks
Solid athlete
Solid motor

Cons:

Struggles to consistently create his own shot

Can be too passive on offense
Can be prone to hoisting up questionable shots
Can gamble too much defensively
Did not see much playing time last year

Summary:

Devin Vassell is an athletic, high-motor swingman that can score the basketball in a variety of ways, and he is also a rangy defender that can get steals, blocks, and stops for his team.¬† He will need to be a more consistent player in games as well as improve his ability to create his own shot off the dribble, but Vassell’s athleticism combined with his ability to shoot and defend could enable him to go in the mid first round in 2020.
