Deni Avdija is a smart, skilled basketball player that can help his team in a variety of ways. He is a cerebral facilitator that tends to make sound reads and plays on offense, and he also can run the point when called upon to do so. He also tends to take smart shots in games, and he can knock down plenty of jumpers when given the time and space to do so, and he is a competitive player that will go for rebounds and will get after it defensively. This season, he also did a decent job of blocking shots, and he is also a solid position defender.
On the other hand, he is a good, but not a great athlete, and there are some minor concerns if he can shoot well at the next level, as he struggled to make his free throws this season. Still, he is a very talented prospect whose skill set could allow him to thrive in the NBA, and Avdija could end up being a top 5 pick in the 2020 draft.
