Updated on 6/27/22.  Written by Alan Lu.

Height: 6-9
Weight: 190
College: Memphis
Classification: Fifth-Year Senior
Birthdate: 10/4/1996

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Decent scorer off the dribble
Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Can post up smaller players
Decent playmaker
Decent rebounder
Decent defender that can get steals
Solid athlete

Cons:

Reluctant to take threes
Needs to improve his free throw shooting
Can be careless on offense, which can lead to turnovers
Needs to add strength
Old for a draft prospect, may have limited upside

Summary:

DeAndre Williams is a tall, athletic playmaker that can comfortably run the point or play off the ball, and he is also a good defender that can guard multiple positions.  He will need to improve his outside shot, but his size, athleticism, and versatility could enable him to be an effective role player in the NBA.
