Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Excels at scoring off-ball motion plays
Adequate scorer off the dribble
Adequate playmaker for his size
Adequate rebounder
Decent defender
Solid athlete

Cons:

Needs to improve his shooting
Prone to hoisting up questionable shots
Can be reluctant to take outside shots
Not an elite ball handler, can be turnover prone
Does not always commit himself to the boards
Relative late bloomer

Summary:

Davion Warren is an athletic, energetic swingman that played at Hampton before transferring to Texas Tech this season.  He’s having a solid year for them, and he is a rangy defender that can cover plenty of ground.  He’ll need to show NBA teams that he can be a reliable shooter on a consistent basis.  Currently, he projects to be a borderline second round candidate for the 2022 draft.
