Summary:
David Roddy is a strong, mobile forward that has been having a very good junior season at Colorado State. He is a physical specimen that will outwork his opponents to score and grab rebounds in the paint, and he plays taller than his listed height. He also is an unselfish player that can pass and handle the ball, and he will make solid reads to get some assists. Plus, he’s really improved his jump shot this season, which has really made him a very good offensive player this season.
On the downside, he doesn’t have elite quickness and he didn’t shoot the three-ball well in his first two years, so it may tough to determine if his outside shot will be a permanent addition to his arsenal. Still, it’s hard to ignore his strong production this year, and his intriguing skill set could make him a solid pick for an NBA team in the 2022 draft.
