Summary:
Daimion Collins is a very athletic combo forward that can make a lot of solid, energetic hustle plays on both ends of the floor. He is a very good rebounder and shot blocker that shows the potential to effectively guard all three frontcourt positions. He is also a high-flyer that is a very effective scorer on off-ball motion plays and in the open court.
On the downside, he needs to improve his jump shot, and he may struggle to consistently score in the half court. He will need to tighten up his handles and improve his footwork when posting up. He also hasn’t played nearly as much as expected, and he didn’t play much in team’s losses to Duke or Notre Dame. Currently, he is a second round prospect for the 2023 draft.
