Summary:
D.J. Stewart is an athletic, skilled swingman that can shoot and score the basketball. He had a solid season this year, as he was able to score 32 points in a loss to Dayton, and he averaged 16 points per game this season. He can sometimes tend to be inconsistent in games, and he didn’t play well at all in the 2021 G-League Elite Camp. If he stays in the draft, he’ll likely need to spend at least a season in the G-League or overseas to hone his game. If he can continue to progress as an overall player, he could project into a 3 and D type of role in the NBA.
