2023 rankings were finalized on 6/22/23.

Height: 6-6
Weight: 220
College: Kentucky
Classification: Freshman
Birthdate: 10/15/2003

2023 Top 100 Prospect Rank: 74
Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted
2023 NBA Draft: Round 2, Pick 58 by the Milwaukee Bucks

Pros:

Adequate scorer off the dribble
Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Adequate playmaker
Solid rebounder for his size
Decent defender that can get steals
Above average athlete

Cons:

Needs to improve his shooting
Can be reluctant to take outside shots
Can be prone to hoisting up questionable shots
Can be careless on offense, which can lead to turnovers
Didn’t get as much playing time as expected this year
Had a relatively disappointing freshman season at Kentucky

Summary:

Chris Livingston is a mobile, energetic swingman that was a highly touted recruit coming into Kentucky, and he was a 2022 McDonald’s All-American. He is a skilled player that can score, distribute the ball, and defend, but he will need to improve his jump shot and take care of the basketball better.  He didn’t get as much playing time at Kentucky as expected, and he didn’t really get to show his skills for extended stretches. Right now, he’d be more of an upside type of pick, as he didn’t really have the freshman season that was expected of him, but Livingston could end up going late in the second round in the 2023 draft.
