Summary:
Caleb Houstan is an athletic, skilled swingman that can shoot and score the basketball.  He is a sharpshooter that excels at knocking down outside shots, and he also can make energetic hustle plays on both ends of the floor.  He has also played well in big games, as he helped Montverde Academy win the 2021 GEICO Nationals.  He came into college projecting to be one of the best shooters and perimeter defenders amongst incoming freshmen.

This season though, Houstan has had an up and down freshman season, as he’s struggled at times to adjust to a supporting role as a stationary, spot-up shooter at Michigan with inconsistent touches. He’s had some very good games, but has struggled significantly in others. Currently, he projects to be a second round prospect for the 2022 draft.
