Summary:
C.J. Elleby is an athletic, skilled swingman that may project to be a shooting specialist in the NBA. He had a good freshman season on a dismal team in 2019, but had his ups and downs as he had to carry on a greater scoring load this past season.
There are times where he’ll make some impressive shots, and other times he’ll be prone to having dreadful shooting slumps in games. He’ll need to improve his shot selection to be a more efficient shooter in games, but if he can be a more consistent player on the court, Elleby could end up being an effective role player in the association.
