Summary:

Amar Sylla is a very athletic, energetic big man that could be a potential first round pick in the 2021 draft.  He has elite physical tools and motor that could enable him to project into a rim protector role in the NBA, but he did not play well in professional basketball for Oostende this past season.  He really struggled to make shots or to score efficiently, as his play was disappointing overall this year.  He’ll need to bounce back to perform better next season, but despite that, he is a player that may have considerable upside, and NBA teams will be intrigued to see how well he plays in 2021.
