A.J. Griffin is an athletic, skilled swingman that currently plays for Duke. He is a very athletic forward that can in as a highly touted prospect, and he is a rangy defender that can guard multiple positions. On the other hand, he can tend to force the issue too much on offense at times, and he will sometimes try to go for steals too much, which can lead him to be out of position defensively.
Currently, he is a talented prospect whose athleticism and defensive potential could make him a promising player to watch. Griffin looks to have a great deal of upside, but he has not seen a lot of playing time, and he’s been quite disappointing in the limited amount of minutes that he does get. Right now, Griffin projects to be a mid to late first round prospect for the 2022 draft.
