Updated as of 4/26/2020, scouting report written by Alan Lu.

Height: 6-8
Weight: 240
College: Indiana
Classification: Freshman
Birthdate: 2/22/2000

Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Solid finisher around the basket
Decent low post scorer
Decent scorer off the dribble
Adequate mid-range shooter
Excels at scoring on the move
Adequate playmaker for his size
Decent rebounder
Adequate defender
Good shot blocker
Solid athlete

Cons:

Can be reluctant to take outside shots
Can struggle to protect the basketball
Can be undisciplined defensively
A bit undersized to play inside
Relative unknown commodity

Summary:

Trayce Jackson-Davis is an athletic, energetic big man that can score in the post, rebound, and block shots to help his team on both ends of the floor.  He is a very good scorer and rebounder in the paint, but he may need to improve his on-ball defense, and show that he can regularly play well against tough opponents on a consistent basis.  If he can continue to play well, he could swiftly move up draft boards as a prospect for the 2021 draft.
