Recently, the G-League Elite Camp was held this past week, and there were four games played amongst four teams. Mackenzie Mgbako, Yanick Konan Niederhauser, Lachlan Olbrich, Ryan Nembhard, and Tamar Bates ended up securing the invites to the 2025 NBA Draft Combine. Here are our thoughts and picks for who would make NBA Scouting Live’s 2025 All G-League Elite Camp Teams.

Penn State’s 7-1 center from Switzerland, Yanic Konan Neiderhauser was one of five standouts from the 2025 G-League Elite Camp that managed to score an invite to the 2025 NBA Draft Combine.

Our Picks for the 2025 All G-League Elite Camp 1st Team:

C Yanic Konan Neiderhauser, Team 2
F Lachlan Olbrich, Team 3
F Mackenzie Mgbako, Team 3 (Our Pick for G-League Elite Camp MVP)
G Tamar Bates, Team 1
G Ryan Nembhard, Team 3

Mackenzie Mgbako averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game while making 54% of his threes and 91% of his free throws to help Team 3 get to a 2-0 record at this event. He was superb in both games, and he was terrific in the games he played here.

Yanic Konan Niederhauser averaged 15.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game while making 82% from the field, and he had a positive impact on the floor, as he was very good in both of those games. In his second game at this event, he was perfect from the field.

Lachlan Olbrich averaged 15.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game while making 57% from the field at this event, and he helped Team 3 to a 2-0 record.

Ryan Nembhard averaged 8.5 points and 7.5 assists per game at this event, and he made 55% from the field, 50% of his threes, and 75% of his free throws, and he also helped his team to a 2-0 record at this event.

Tamar Bates made a strong first game impression by scoring 19 points in the first game, and he averaged 14 points per game in both games that he played at this event, as he did a great job of making his free throws and showed solid playmaking skills here. Bates helped his team to a 2-0 record at this event.

Norchad Omier and Chucky Hepburn were in consideration as well, but since the NBA chose Mgbako, Niederhauser, Olbrich, Bates, and Nembhard to be a part of the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, it made more sense to make them our picks to be on our first team.

Our Picks for the 2025 All G-League Elite Camp 2nd Team:

F Norchad Omier, Team 1
G Caleb Grill, Team 2
G Jaland Lowe, Team 1
G R.J. Davis, Team 1
G Chucky Hepburn, Team 2

Chucky Hepburn averaged 12 points, 5.5 assists, and 3 rebounds per game while making 58% from the field, as well as 67% of his threes and 86% of his free throws, and he certainly helped his draft standing in these games.

Norchad Omier averaged 10.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, and he made 70% from the field in the two games here. While he didn’t make a three-pointer and may need to show NBA teams that he can play the small forward position, Omier’s sterling production at this event was impressive, nonetheless.

R.J. Davis averaged 13.5 points and 3.5 assists per game, and he made 53% from the field, as he showed off solid offensive skills at this event.

Caleb Grill averaged 14 points per game in the two games, and he made 64% from the field, as well as 55% of his threes-pointers, and he showed superb marksmanship in these games.

Jaland Lowe averaged 9.5 points and 5.0 assists per game, and he made 43% of his threes in the two games here.

Chase Hunter, Team 3, Chance McMillan, Team 3,John Poulakidis, Team 1, Thierry Darlan, Team 2, Lamont Butler, Team 3, Kobe Johnson, Team 2, Malique Lewis, Team 3, Dylan Cardwell, Team 3, Kadary Richmond, Team 2, Rueben Chinyelu, Team 1

Team 4 went 0-2, and they had the worst showing amongst the four teams at this event, as they were blown out in their first game, but among the players on Team 4, it seemed that Andrew Carr and Caleb Love had the best games amongst players on that specific team. Rueben Chinyelu was reported as to having a very impressive, 7 foot 8 wingspan, which suggests he has a lot of potential to excel as an interior defender at the NBA level. Keshon Gilbert had a strong first game, but had a less than stellar second game, but overall seemed to also be worthy of mention based on how he played in these games. Chase Hunter played very well, especially on offense at this event, and received strong consideration for our picks to be on the second team.

Anyways, all in all, those are my thoughts on how these games fared. Thanks for reading.
