Summary:
Jean Montero is a fleet-footed guard that excels at attacking the hoop to score and get assists.  He also does a good job of grabbing rebounds and steals in games.  He will need to improve his three-point shot as well as his on-ball defense.

Recently, he signed on to join the Overtime Elite league, and Montero will likely be a heavily featured player in this new league.  However, this new league also may raise a lot of questions.  One significant concern so far is that there doesn’t seem to be any sort of statistics that may be tracked in this league, which may make it more difficult to accurately gauge the success levels of each of the players in their new league. Also, because there may not be statistics to track, it also would probably be difficult to gauge the competitiveness of this new league compared to other similar professional leagues.

Overall, Montero is a talented prospect that may possess considerable upside, and he is a score-first, point guard that currently projects to go in the mid to late first round range in the 2022 draft.
