Adequate defensive player
Gifted shot blocker
Solid athlete
Has a really long wingspan

Cons:

Must expand upon his shooting range
Bad free throw shooter
Needs to improve his passing ability
May be fairly raw offensively
Struggles to defend out on the perimeter
Can be foul prone
May rely too much on his raw athleticism

Summary:

Daniel Gafford is an athletic big man who has seen his draft stock rise rapidly, and he could profile into a rim protector in the NBA.

So far, he has been quite effective in his role, as he can finish plays around the basket, rebound, and block shots.  While he can be inconsistent in games, his skill set, combined with his athleticism and upside could make him a good candidate to be picked in the lottery in 2019.
