Thoughts on the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, and Our Picks for the 2025 All-NBA Draft Combine Teams

Recently, numerous prospects were invited to participate at the 2025 NBA Draft Combine, and four combine scrimmage games were held at this event. Also, there was some measurements and athletic testing that also happened. Here are our thoughts on who fared the best in these games.

Our Picks for the 2025 All-NBA Draft Combine 1st Team:
C Lachlan Olbrich, Team Mueller
C Maxime Raynaud, Team Williams (Our Picks for the Combine Scrimmage Games MVP)

F Mackenzie Mgbako, Team Domercant
G Ryan Nembhard, Team Williams
Maxime Raynaud really shined at this event, as he scored 20 points, made 2 threes, and he had 9 rebounds and 3 assists in the lone game he played here, and he really elevated his stock to the point where he may be a likely first round pick in the 2025 draft.
Jamir Watkins averaged 17.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 steals, and 2.0 assists per game, as he made 50% from the field, 44% of his threes, and 85% of his free throws in the two games he played at this event, and he led Team Mueller to a 2-0 record here. He had strong all-around performances to help his team to win both of their games. Watkins fared very well here, and would be a likely selection in the 2025 NBA draft if he stays in.
Mackenzie Mgbako averaged 15.5 points, 8 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game, and he made 46% of his threes and 88% of his free throws in the two games he played at this event. He is a tall, athletic smooth scoring forward that could be a possible first round pick this year if he stays in the 2025 draft.

Neoklis Avdalas averaged 10.5 points, 7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1 block per game, and he also made 40% of his threes in the two games he played here. He is a very skilled, versatile playmaking forward that helped his draft standing immensely, and he would be a likely selection in the 2025 NBA Draft if he stays in.
Miles Byrd averaged 12 points, 4 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and 2 blocks per game, and he also made 45% of his threes in the two games he played here. He is an athletic, skilled swingman that helped his draft standing immensely, and he would be a likely selection in the 2025 NBA Draft if he stays in.

Also, Yahoo Sports posted the measurements and athletic testing numbers that prospects posted at this event. Here was some of the notable information that was provided.
Duke’s 7-2 freshman center, Khaman Maluach led all prospects with a 7’ 6.75” wingspan.
Drake Powell had the best max vertical leap by jumping 43 inches. Tahaad Pettiford and Javon Small also posted an impressive max verts, as they posted 42 and 40.5 inches, respectively.
Drake Powell also had the best standing vertical leap by jumping 37.5 inches.
Grant Nelson had the best shuttle run by running it in 2.58 seconds.
Lachlan Olbrich and Hansen Yang had the biggest hand lengths at 10 inches.
Rocco Zikarsky was the tallest, as he measured at 7 foot 3 inches without shoes.
