Projected Draft Range: 2nd Round to Undrafted

Pros:

Decent shooter

Can post up smaller players
Excels at scoring on off-ball motion plays
Decent rebounder for his size
Decent defender
Solid shot blocker for his size
Good athlete
Solid motor

Cons:

Streaky shooter
Lacks an elite first step off the dribble
His free throw shooting has tapered off significantly this year
His assist numbers are significantly down this year
Can struggle to guard quicker players
Old for a draft prospect, may have limited upside

Summary:

Stanley Umude is a very athletic, energetic swingman that projects into a 3 and D type of role in the NBA.  He can knock down spot-up jumpers, and he also can finish plays above the rim.  He will need to show that he can do these things well at higher levels, but his ability to shoot and defend could enable him to make it to the NBA someday.
