Summary:
Dedric Lawson is a productive combination forward that may have a good set of all-around skills. He can score from all over the floor, and he tends to make good decisions with the ball in his hands.
Also, he is a terrific rebounder, especially for a player his size, and he is an adequate defensive player that can get blocks and steals for his team.
However, Lawson lacks elite athletic tools, as he may struggle to finish plays in traffic, or to defend quicker players. Also, he may need to improve his jump shot.
Right now, Dedric Lawson may be a second round prospect that could contribute in many different ways to a team in the NBA. With his skill set, he could end up being a solid role player in this league, as he may end up being an Andre Roberson type in the association.
