Summary:

Nicolas Claxton is an athletic big man that could be a potential first round pick in the upcoming draft.  Having played on a losing team that lost 21 games this season, it’s been easy to overlook him since his team had been an afterthought and did not reach any of the postseason tournaments.

But more and more NBA scouts and teams may be starting to take notice of Nicolas Claxton and his skill set.  He is a high motor big man that can handle the basketball, and he could project to be a solid rim protector and a stretch big in the NBA.  His shooting efficiency did take a hit as he was asked to create a significant load on offense, but he may have an interesting set of skills that could prove to be intriguing.  Right now, he may end up going in the late first to the second round range in the upcoming draft.
